A few highlights of the last day of the 50th Annual Sun N Fun Air Show in Lakeland, FL. Two personal favorites of mine were the Doug Rozendaal's Howard "Mr. Mulligan" and David Martin's Bucker Jungmeister.

This balsa and tissue scale model of the Art Chester's racing aircraft known as the "Jeep" was built by the late Bob Bender decades ago. I think I recall reading a construction article on that F 14 in an old 1980-81 Model Airplane News. It was all wood and had working swing wings. Early ducted fan technology. Very impressive.
Brings back many memories. Cedar Creek was my first RC field and learned to fly RC there. Flew many years there. Loved Rhinebeck and Cole Palen. Loved talking with him about flying and maintaining the old timers. Flew in several of his oldies (as a passenger).
Old Rhinebeck still there! I used to fly up in a Champ 7AC in the 60s, always doing a wheel landing on the downslope of the initial hill at the south end. It's a lot grassier today than it was then.

Wow, nice flight. Did you change anything from the stock kit? How long and wide was your rubber motor?
WOW! that was awesome! karl allweier is spot on with the hendrix's guitar solos and tom polapink matches the drum parts just as they sound on the original. very nice! freddie sire's bass volume needs to be turned up though - couldn't hear it.
